Carving Foam Pumpkin Stems

Its a Halloween party going on at our house and we are sculpting gaint foam pumpkins props for the October yard display home haunt. Its past the time for Halloween decorations and Halloween decorating but we are just getting started in this art of pumpkin carving mania and these are not you average Funkin pumpkins. We had a ton of styrofoam to sculpt and carve these Halloween props with. In this video we carve large blocks of styrofoam into huge Halloween pumpkins. After we carve these big orange world record size pumpkins we will hard coat and paint them several different shades like you see in real pumpkin patches. We also need to finish sculpting the enormous stems for each squash. If we have time we will try to build a witches shack or a witch house facade that look like a cute little fairy tale cottage. We hope you enjoy as we take the ultimate pumpkin carving challenge!

  1. Spooky! those stems are as big as real pumpkins! Your pumpkins are about as
big as skyscrapers! keep up the great work on your videos! :)

  2. Awesome, I love the stems as much as the pumpkins, I pick my pumpkins
according to how much personality the stem has, gonna try your techniquie

  3. I love this project so much. you guys have so much patience when it comes
to builds. I get 3/4 of the way done then I run away from it for a bit and
    start something new. awesome job

  4. Your pumpkins are already starting to look so real, I’d never think about
stealing one, because I’d never guess they were foam.

  5. It’s the Great Pumpkin … nice work. Love the stems. In honor of my fellow
imgurians, I can’t tell the actual size of those pumpkins without the
official “banana for scale”. I thought you were going there when you
    started talking bananas.

  6. Looking so amazing…Best Pumpkins ever! The stems made all the difference
for sure Jeana. How do you know I do not sleep at night. If I could sleep
in the Yard I would, when you put so much into something, it would be the
worst to have someone steal something. That should also help them not blow
away. You both impress me more and more with every video. Thanks to you
    both!

  7. Where’s Charlie Brown!!!

    Great Pumpkins!!!!!

Stringing them together will make them harder to grow feet and not be
there. I marked my decorations and put my home address on them so when they
did wonder off, I could prove they came from my lawn. (Kids think oldsters
are stupid and put them out the very next year and I got them back each and
every time they “wondered off”.) Silly pranksters.

  8. Those pumpkins are looking great and your doggie is so sweet! Do your new
neighbors have any idea who moved into their neighborhood?

  9. besides minimal theft deterrence, strapping those down is a good idea so
they don’t roll around in case of strong wind which might be an issue in
    other regions if not yours.
