While the adults and kids get excited to dress up and go trick-or-treating, don’t leave out the babies! Even though they have no idea what is going on (since this is most likely their first Halloween), there is still no reason to leave them out of all the fun. There are so many things you can dress them up as for their first Halloween. Mermaid, superhero, itty bitty Santa Claus, you name it. Whether it is a bug, a fuzzy animal, or a type of food, there’s always a costume for your baby. Just be thankful that Halloween episode of Buffy can't actually happen, otherwise things will get a little strange if the baby is dressed as a carrot. Baby carrots are one thing, but a carrot baby is something else entirely. Check out these cute baby bunting Halloween costumes for your little one!

Infant Pink Monster Bunting

Infant Pink Monster Bunting

Since babies and children are affectionately referred to as little monsters, why not dress your baby up as one? Since October is a bit chillier in most parts of the country, it is always a good idea to make sure the costume itself is warm enough so you don’t have to put layers over the cutest little monster ever.

Maybe if they wear monster costumes enough as little kids, then maybe they will actually befriend the monster under the bed. It doesn't even have to be a scary looking monster that will scare other kids. It could be a monster with one eye or a foot growing out the side of its head.

Elf Baby Bunting Halloween Costumes

Elf Baby Bunting Costume

Bit early for Christmas, but this elf is here anyway. This bunting costume is perfect for the little elf who just wants to curl up and take a nap from all that hard work going on at the North Pole. The hat is perfect for those chilly Halloween nights that will later turn into those frozen winter days.

Why be Santa Claus when you can be an elf? Santa is busy as it is since Christmas is around the corner. It isn't often that elves can sneak away and join in on other holiday festivities. Elves need fun too!

Puppy Bunting for Infants

Puppy Bunting for Infants

How much is that puppy in the window? I don’t think this puppy is for sale, it’s a baby human and humans aren’t for sale silly. Most kids love dogs and even more people love puppies, so it makes sense to combine the two into one of the cutest things ever seen.

They are so cute, cuddly and lovable. And, like babies, they occasionally have accidents. Taking this little fuzzy puppy out and about will make all the baby and puppy loving beekeepers, knights, and butterflies rush over to hold the puppy.

Infant Goldfish Bunting

Not the edible kind either. Normally you wouldn’t think to cuddle a goldfish as they are slippery, aren’t cuddly, and don’t do well outside of water, but this little goldfish is the exception. While all the other babies are being dressed as puppies, kittens, and hot dogs, your little goldfish baby will stand out, both with the bright colors of the goldfish and the novelty of not being a puppy. While standard goldfish don’t really interact with you and others, this little wiggly, giggly goldfish will. This goldfish is best kept out of the fish tank and does better in dry environments.

Infant Caterpillar Costume

Infant Caterpillar Costume

Since infants can only move around by crawling and inching along like an inchworm before they learn how to walk, the caterpillar bunting costume is the perfect metaphor for them. They are limited in their mobility like a caterpillar and the free butterfly they are going to become is cocooned in the future.

Okay, not exactly the perfect metaphor, but at least you don’t have to go chasing after a caterpillar in order to put it down for a nap or tell a caterpillar to stop drawing on the walls. And caterpillars don’t climb furniture only to jump off said furniture. They are cuter than actual caterpillars and can make noises so you can find them easily.

Food Baby Bunting Halloween Costumes

Have you ever been told as a child that you were just so cute that the person wanted to eat you up? Kind of creepy, right? And all of the other adults thought it was perfectly normal too, didn’t they? Maybe that is why they like to dress little children and babies like food. Either that or there is some sort of subconscious psychological thing that makes people think that babies would look even cuter dressed as food. There are somewhat traditional baby costumes like bananas, carrots, and even an ear of corn, but nothing will trigger those benign faux cannibalistic urges in others quite like a baby dressed as a tootsie roll. It will be one of the sweetest things ever but guaranteed not to give you cavities.
