Halloween is coming up and people think of dressing up in costumes, sometimes as characters from their favorite movie or TV shows. Other people love the parties that are thrown where there are games for everyone to play, such as bobbing for apples and pin the fang on the vampire. Then there are those who believe that dressing up, the candy, the parties and the games is merely the appetizer to what they believe is the best thing about Halloween.
The decorations, for some people, are an afterthought where they put out a few pumpkins and a few stickers in the window and leave it at that. Then there are those who plan everything out the month before and order what they need a month or two beforehand. These decoration enthusiasts go all out for the creepiest, scariest decorations to top the previous Halloween. Check out the following Halloween animatronics below that you may add to your decoration and make your place spookiest than ever!
Have you ever been walking around outside and had a bat fly near you that was a little too close for comfort? Imagine how trick-or-treaters will feel with this animatronic slashing bat. Hide in the corner of the porch ceiling and it will be something they will never see coming. Or, even better, put it in the trees or bushes leading to the house. When someone walks near the slashing bat, the eyes will light up and it will make scary noises.
The sudden movement, plus the scary noise and huge fangs will almost certainly scare the most intrepid trick-or-treaters. While real bats won’t get trapped in people’s hair and bite them, there is no guarantee that these bats won’t when activated. Although, if the bat is attached to the porch ceiling or doorway, the person would have to be tall in order for the claws to get trapped in their hair.
Ever see a book write in itself? In most cases, when the author who is penning the book dies, either the book idea dies with them, or another author picks up the project and tries to continue the story in the voice of the original author. What happened with this book was even stranger.
Legend goes that after the author was struck by lightning and turned to ash, the book continued writing and has started to warn people not do perform the spells found within. If you ever come across an ancient book with strange writing on the front, don’t open it. If you do give into your curiosity and open it, don’t read what is inside. If you do read what is inside, don’t perform the spells. If you do perform the spells, well, it has been nice knowing ya.
While seeing the Grim Reaper coming for you is scary enough, a flying reaper would be even more terrifying for those who are easily spooked. This would be a perfect addition to giant spiders and cobwebs, as well as whatever scary music you have that is providing the atmosphere for your delightfully macabre scene.
This animated reaper has rotting clothes, all you see are bones and it has ragged, creepy wings to pull the whole look together. Word to the wise though, if this reaper manages to pull itself from what is attaching it to the ceiling or doorway? Run and don’t look back and let the person who bought the thing take care of it. Oh, wait, you’re the one who bought it? Ha ha ha ha ha!
When thinking of porch swings, most people think of an inviting swing that holds two to three people with a comfy cushion to sit upon. This makes it the perfect place on the weekend to slowly drink a tall glass of lemonade and read a long book.
With this witch on a swing, it will scare almost anyone who dares come to your door for candy. This is not your average person on a porch swing. She will come to life with her sinister cackle and kicking legs. The swing itself does looks like it is about to fall apart, but that just adds to the atmosphere and mood that the witch conveys.
Have you ever been working on the computer and looked away from the screen only to come face to face with a real life spider dangling inches from your face? Hopefully not, but you get the idea of what it would be like.
With these giant dropping spiders, you can find out who has the fear of spiders and who doesn’t. These giant spiders can be dropped from the ceiling and their red eyes will captivate and mesmerize even the most stubborn person. These spiders will come in handy as about 5 percent of the population suffers from arachnophobia.
