Halloween is a fun holiday that happens once a year. What better way to enjoy it than by including your whole family to celebrate it. From baby bunting costumes down to adorable Pokemon costumes for your dogs, I never leave anyone out! This time, I’ve come up with a list of costumes for your little girls. From cute to sassy to downright magical, I’ve got you covered. Check out these toddler girl Halloween costume ideas.
Who doesn’t love a good Pixar movie? Nearly everyone I know has seen one – or ten – Pixar movie in their lifetime. Who doesn’t love them? They’ve got all of these lovable characters that teach kids valuable lessons in life. One of my favorite movies is Monsters, Inc. Who could forget the chaos that Sully and Mike Wazowski had to pull just to end up coming out on top?
Also, who could forget that cute little girl named Boo? This cute little meddler just swooped in and found her way to the hearts of our two crazy characters. Your girl can dress up as Boo with this cute costume. This includes the shirt with attached mitts, a tunic, and a hood.
Audrey Hepburn is a style icon and a great role model for every girl. One of her most famous movies, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, is where she showed her acting chops that made her into an icon. That on-point fashion sense, sophisticated swagger, and witty sense of humor made everyone fall in love with her. This is one of the reasons why when people Google Audrey Hepburn, the results are mostly from that movie.
Now, if you’re a fan of her character in the movie, then your little firecracker can turn into Holly Golightly in an instant with this costume. It includes the iconic black dress, a waist sash, a pair of cat-eye sunglasses, and a pair of black gloves. She’s off to capture New York’s heart in no time.
Everyone who grew up reading Alice in Wonderland knows the value of nurturing a child’s imagination. After all, this is where they harness their creativity from. This Halloween, your child can dress up as Alice and enjoy tea parties with the Mad Hatter and follow the white rabbit down the rabbit hole.
Let her discover a whole new magical world and make new friends in the process. After all, what’s a good Halloween, if not for kids running around in fun costumes? Just like most toddler girl Halloween costumes, this one is very easy to wear. It includes the blue dress with white apron and a black ribbon for her hair.
Does your kid love muddy puddles? Does she like leading playtime with her friends and getting into all sorts of mischief? Then, she must be channeling her inner Peppa! Peppa Pig is as mischievous as she is adorable, and we all can’t help but root for her in all of her adventures.
This costume is just cuteness overload! It includes the dress and Peppa Pig hat. Getting her a pair of pink tights is the best way to go. So, have your kid traipse around the neighborhood with her friends and let them have the time of their lives!
I’m sure, as parents, you’ve had your fair share of hearing the song ‘Let It Go’ over and over again. Granted, it’s a catchy tune, but I can only listen to it so much. ‘Frozen’ was one phenomenal movie, after all. It’s a rare gem of a Disney movie. Unlike most of the other popular ones, a love story is not the central element.
It is a great female-led movie that greatly inspires girls to be stronger and more steadfast. This year, your little girl can dress up as her favorite Elsa – less ice, more flowers. It’s the green dress featured on the short movie, ‘Frozen Fever’. Sure, the original is great, but this is a great option if your kids love a splash of colors…and flowers!
We were taught as kids not to talk to strangers, especially if the stranger is a big bad wolf! Nearly all children’s stories feature this trope: a wandering child meets the villain and that’s when our parents would tell us that that is what is to be expected if go wandering by ourselves and talking to strangers. One of such stories is The Little Red Riding Hood.
But in her defense, the big bad wolf DID disguise itself as Red’s grandmother. She was just too smart for the wolf and saw right through its disguise! Your kids can experience being The Little Red Riding Hood with this toddler girl Halloween costume. It has all the makings of the witty girl who got the upper hand against the big bad wolf – the dress, neck bow, and that iconic red cape!
Toy Story is a well-loved movie franchise, regardless what age you’re in. If you didn’t cry at least once in any one of the movies, then I’m sure you’d just need to watch it again to thaw out your cold, cold heart made of ice.
Our favorite cowgirl, Jesse, from the movies can make her appearance at this year’s Halloween. All you need is this costume. It has the cowgirl jumpsuit with the attached belt, a hair bow, and that cowgirl hat! Yee-haw! Have your little girl gallop around the block on her trick-or-treating adventure.
We’re not in Kansas anymore, Toto. Dorothy and her pal, Toto, are in a bit of a pinch and they need to find the Wizard of Oz to go back to Kansas! She’ll be needing all the help she could get, especially since she’s joined by three other rascals who will both help her, and make her journey all the more challenging.
Luckily, we have Glinda the Good Witch to help us find our way out of Oz. This magical lady can make the evil witches go away with this officially licensed costume. It has the sparkly pink dress and crown, for that extra magical touch. All she needs is a magic wand and she’s good to go!
